6:00pm Middle School - Grades 5-8
7:00pm High School - Grades 9-12

​Purpose
Our purpose as adults working with the youth at Pratt United Methodist Church is to serve the youth to help them grow in their faith and know Jesus! To provide opportunities for relationships, build awareness of God’s active presence, to increase the congregation’s appreciation of students, to create programs and events that have value and purpose and to encourage personal and spiritual growth in Jesus. Helping young people realize that their faith in Jesus Christ calls them to serve others and share their faith in Jesus is an essential task for our youth ministry.
 
Vision
We strive to have a ministry that is first Christ centered and second youth centered. We aim at fostering intentional relationships of youth to Jesus Christ, mentoring adults and youth to one another.
 
We foster our purpose and vision through:
  • Weekly meetings and fellowship that include bible study, projects, and opportunities to serve
  • Helping young people integrate faith and life
  • Helping to develop skills to serve others
  • Developing life affirming gospel values
  • Advocating for and becoming personally involved in action
 
As a youth ministry our challenge is to help youth use their energy and talent in positive ways. Along with their involvement, is reflection that leads them to new insight and a positive view of their future and faith-based life.
